Dr. MJ Alsafar
Dr. MJ Alsafar creates a genuine connection with his patients and provides them with excellent, individualized care. Dr. MJ was raised in Dubai, UAE, and graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from MSA University – a British school validated by the University of Greenwich and Bedfordshire. He completed his residency in general practice in a public hospital in Dubai, UAE. Dr. Alsafar then immigrated to the U.S. and attended two Ivy League schools. He graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania and was awarded his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD). He then completed his residency and fellowship in implant dentistry at Harvard University, where he received extensive training in placing and restoring dental implants. During his time at Harvard, he shared his time and passion by teaching Harvard dental students.
Dr. MJ has received many awards and most recently was elected by the National Honor Dental Society to honorary membership due to his outstanding contribution to the field of dentistry.
Practicing in Dubai, Philadelphia, Boston, and Florida, Dr. MJ is very experienced in treating patients from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
Dr. MJ moved to Saint Johns, as he was drawn to the community and specifically the beautiful weather that very much reminds him of his hometown. During his free time, he loves spending time with his family and his black lab pup, and he enjoys playing tennis, swimming, snorkeling, and road trips.
